Southwest Health Center Heart of the Community Public Relations Campaign
Challenge:
Use venues other than advertisng to motivate community members to take care of their hearts by becoming involved in a community-wide health initiative. The task most notably focused on growing attendance for a speaking event that kicked off the initiative.
Solution:
Garner substantial media coverage of the general initiative and the speaking event, focusing on the pre-, on-site, and post-visit by key-note speaker, Zonya Foco. The Heart of the Community initiative including: live television coverage, numerous articles in two local papers and several live call-in radio interviews.
